Hanna Besson is an international sand artist known for her emotional depth, musical sensitivity and visionary creative concepts.
Her work combines strong technical mastery with continuous artistic development.
With a background in art, pedagogy and music, she creates live sand performances in precise dialogue with rhythm, structure and emotional dynamics. Her work combines craftsmanship with dramaturgical thinking and philosophical depth.
Her performances are not decorative accompaniment —
they are composed visual interpretations.
For more than ten years, Hanna has continuously refined her technique. She believes sand art must evolve with time. Each year expands her artistic language, precision and expressive range.
She actively integrates contemporary tools into her work — including digital projection, film language and AI-assisted visual development — expanding classical sand performance into hybrid stage and cinematic formats.
Technology does not replace the hand.
It extends the story.
Hanna develops original concepts, writes her own scripts and builds strong narrative structures — even when a client begins without a clear vision.
In 2020, she was invited to Germany by producer Dimitrij Sacharow to collaborate with Das Sandtheater and Sandartisten — an important milestone in her international career. She continues to collaborate within the German sand art scene.
